Hello, All --

Thanks to everybody who attended May 14th's Open Mic Night.  Many thanks to City Weekly's Scott Renshaw for employing his critical expertise, and thanks to those of you in the audience who voted for your favorite film as well.  The Critic's Choice was awarded to Sohrab Mirmontazeri for his film, "Western," and the Audience Favorite Award went to Chali for his film, "El Guerrero Villa."  Both films will go on to compete for 2008's "Best Film of Open Mic," and they will be screened at the end-of-year's "Best of Open Mic" Night.

The next Open Mic Night at the Tower is August 27th.  Familiarize yourself with rules so you're not out of the loop (www.slfsopenmicnight.com) and we'll see you there!
