The interesting thing about this song is that you are just as likely to here it in church as you are at a country concert.

We’ll Understand it Better By and By is an old gospel tune which is the most uplifting of the three. It has been performed several ways, from slow and soulful to a tempo that has people on their feet and clapping their hands. A staple of worship song of gospel churches, a certain Elvis also recorded a version of it in the 1950’s.
Many versions of this song have been recorded with vocal only, this works extremely well as the praise like lyrics of the song are given the spotlight, in churches where there is not a choir worshippers may be given a keyboard backing in order to grasp the tune.
